Moving on Up!

Today was the 1st day in my new classroom. Lots of my old buds are already in this class so it will be fun hangin' with them again. There are a few new friends too! I also have four new teachers and there is an obstacle course in the middle of our room that I can crawl through.

This was an afternoon of hanging out in the pool with my pal Mark and playing with Baer. I think Baer is so funny and he lets me climb all over him.

Dad pulls me around the house in this box. We go really fast and I love it.

Happy Birthday Nanny!

We have been working on drinking out of an open face cup but here I am drinking my milk out of a cup with a straw. The straw and lid make it easy and clean. I can even hold it on my own when it has a lid.

I also stood for a few seconds today without holding on to anything.

Happy Father's Day!

We rented a sailboat and went sailing out of Kemah for Father's Day. It was my first ride on a boat and it was fun but don't you think someone could re-design this whole life jacket thing.......Dad, aren't you an engineer???? This could be our ticket.

First Pony Ride

Today was my friend, Avery's, birthday party and she had a petting zoo with a pony. The animals are so funny. I get the giggles around them.

Donuts with Dad!

No pictures but today was "Donuts with Dad" at school in celebration of Father's Day this weekend. I love donuts. I had two.

Home Alone...........with a sitter of course!

Tonight I stayed home with a baby sitter for the first time while mom and dad went to a party!

8 months old

I am now 8 months old. I am "Speedy Gonzolas" when it comes to crawling. I pull up on everything....the sofa, the dishwasher, my toys, etc. I can climb all the way up to the top of the stairs all by myself. I can even go up AND down the two steps into the gameroom. I go head first going down. I am starting to "cruise" around on the furniture too! If you don't know, cruising is just walking while holding onto something.

I am still a very good eater and sleeper. I love to sleep. Dad says I am just like mom. When he tries to wake me up in the morning for school, I just keep turning over and grunting. As far eating, I still get a bottle twice a day for a snack but I don't eat baby food anymore. It is all grown up food for me. I eat the lunch they cook at school and then anything mom and dad eat. Don't think I have any allergies either (knock on wood) because mom has tried out the eggs and peanut butter.

I love to play with all my toys (and cups and boxes) and go for strolls outside. I think dogs are really funny. I love to play chase. I crawl super fast if you say you are going to get me!

Oh, and I can wave bye-bye. Bye-Bye!
