Progress Report

I am now pulling up on everthing. I can reach a whole new level of things. I am even starting to climb the stars. I can make it up the first three steps all by myself.

Washington, D.C. for Memorial Day Weekend

We took a trip to Washington, D.C. to surprise Bob. He rode a motorcycle all the way from Louisiana to DC. It is an annual ride called Run for the Wall. It starts in California and they pick up veterans along the way. We are so proud of him! He was very shocked to see us when he arrived at his hotel.

This trip was absolutely amazing. There were over a half million veterans on bikes there to celebrate and remember. The whole weekend was so patriotic. It was so nice to see all the people there in support of our war veterans and troops.

This was my first ride on an airplane and a metrorail/subway. It was also my first stay in a hotel.

We toured the entire city from sun up to sun down everyday. Here are a few of the shots with me in them (of course!).

I am crawling everywhere! It is so fun!

Swimming!!!!!

Yeah - the pool is finally warm enough to swim!!!! It is like a giant bath tub except we all fit and it is so funny when dad goes under and then pops up. It makes me giggle. This is going to be a great summer. I hope we get to do this every weekend. Oh, and I am taking over Mom's sundeck. It is a perfect spot for me to play. I can crawl around and lay on my tummy.

Pizza Party!

I turned 7 months old today. We celebrated with pizza!

It is so good. I especially like the cheese.

Muffins with Mom at School

We celebrated Mother's Day at school today. Mom came and had a muffin with me. While mom was at school, I started crawling. I wanted her muffin so bad and it was out of reach so I figured out how to get my hands moving and off I went. Mom and Dad better watch out!

Sorry - we just could not wait until my first birthday. My hair was straggly at the top and it was driving Dad crazy. Mom and Dad forgot to get pics of the actual cutting but we did keep the locks and here they are.

Rice and Gravy!

Mmmm! Mom cooked rice and gravy. Just like everything else, I just ate it up.

Nana & YaYa Visit for the Weekend!

We went eat at Olive Garden today! I really liked the breadsticks dipped in alfredo sauce and the pasta from YaYa's dish! I could get used to this big people food. Earlier this week mom cooked Spaghetti and I ate a bowl.....and they say she can't cook!

I can now go from laying down to sitting up all by myself!!
