1st Day of School!!!!

Today's report card - I get one everyday! It says I was happy and active and that I had a good first day!

Today was my first day of school and I had so much fun. We blew bubbles, listened to music, sang songs, read books, etc. I cannot wait to go back tomorrow. I met a lot of new friends. I am the third to youngest in my class of 10. My teachers, Ms. Leslie, Ms. Patricia, and Ms. Veronica are so nice. They took very good care of me. They fed me my bottles and cereal (they could not believe how much cereal I can eat) and made sure I was dry and clean. They are also teaching me that I have to wash my hands after going to the bathroom. That is fun.

This week we are learning to say hello in English, French, and Spanish. The teachers greet us with all three languages every morning. Hello, Bonjour, Hola! The word of the week is "tummy". The sign of the week is "more". Every time someone says "more", they have to use the sign at the same time. Mommy and Daddy are going to use it at home too! Pretty soon I will be able to communicate with them using baby sign language.

I was such a happy little baby when I got home from school today. Mommy is relieved.

So, I start big boy school tomorrow! It is going to be a new adventure for me. I am going to meet lots of new friends. Today we went shopping for some supplies for school...diapers and stuff. Mom was crazy - she cried twice today. She thinks I am too little to go to school. Man, I hope she does not do this every time I reach a new milestone. She is going to embarrass me when I get older.

We also went eat lunch at Rainforest Cafe today. It was soooo cool. I was so amazed with all of the moving animals and the fish and the water fountains. I cannot wait to go back!

FYI - In case anyone was wondering....Mom weighed me today and I weigh 19 pounds.

I started eating cereal today. I am not too sure about it. It tastes like paper and the texture is different. I get so frustrated too because it is slow to fill me up. I think I might want to drink from a bottle forever.

Sleeping Update

I have been sleeping in my bed for a week now and things are going great! I love it and it is so comfortable. I even have this cool turtle that shines stars on the ceiling. I have slept the whole night every night since I have been up there. Mommy and daddy read me bed time stories before bed and then I go to sleep on my own and stay asleep until 6:30 or 7 in the morning. Not much has changed at all - everyone is so grateful.

New Faces, New Places

Today we went to orientation at my new school. I will be starting on January 26th. It was nice and very stimulating. There were lots of other kids everywhere. My teachers seem nice as well. Hopefully we will all get along. I will keep you posted.

P.S......I did not see Aunt Tibby anywhere over there. Where is she?????

Ahhhhh Man

Tonight mommy and daddy are making me sleep in my own bed. I have been sharing their bed for the last three months. They said that when I made three months that I would have to go on my own but I really thought they would change their minds. Man, their bed is so comfortable....I hope this goes well. Stay Tuned.

Me in the Bumbo

3 months old

3 months old now. I love to swing, sit up and look around, go outside for walks, read books, sing songs, do pullups and snuggle with mommy!
Oh, and I like to watch tv too!
I smile all the time and make lots of noises. I am trying to mimic this clicking noise that mommy and daddy make with their mouths. I move my tongue when they do it but nothing comes out yet. I sit up with support and can now play in my exersaucer and sit in my bumbo.
I no longer like to lay on my back. I finally figured out there is more to see in the world than the ceiling. I am also still not a big fan of the car seat on stop and go trips.

Dad and I stayed home and played while mom went out with friends for her birthday. We had so much fun. We read books and sang songs. He makes me laugh.
